Katie Herman

Caryn Seligman, President

Caryn is the parent of the Richard Montgomery IB Class of 2027 student. She holds a BA from Tufts University in social psychology and Spanish. Caryn has more than 25 years of experience working in the public affairs and association management fields. She currently serves at the senior director of the Public Affairs Council, the leading international association for public affairs professional. Caryn has served in volunteer leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations, including the Tufts University Alumni Association, Wyngate Elementary PTA and Girl Scouts. Her family has been very pleased not only with the curriculum and teachers in the IB program, but also with the sense of community fostered among the students and families. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, going to the theatre and spending time with family.

 

 

 

Jingfeng Huang

Anchal Khanna, Vice President

Anchal is a parent of a Richard Montgomery IB Class of 2027 student. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a seasoned couples therapist in the DMV area. She currently works with a group practice in Rockville, MD, and provides trainings to clinicians interested in couples therapy. She collaborates with the Fulbright program run by the U.S. Department of State by offering workshops on cultural adaptation and wellbeing to global audiences. She values the benefits of the RMIB program as it provides a solid foundation in academic rigor and global citizenship. When not working, she enjoys running, cooking, traveling and spending time with family.

Vivian Li, Treasurer

Vivian is a parent of a Richard Montgomery IB Class of 2026 student.  She holds a BS of Finance and a MS in Information Management. Vivian is a seasoned professional in the Financial Services industry with over 25 years of experiencing. She currently works for a Fortune 500 company in Washington D.C. and lives in Montgomery County, Maryland, with her family. Vivian  worked and lived in Virginia and Texas prior to settling down in Maryland.
 

Kshama Hegde

Karin Turturro-Iuzzini, Secretary

Karin is the parent of a student in Richard Montgomery High School’s IB Class of 2027. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State and brings more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech commercialization. Currently, she serves as Vice President of Global Commercialization Strategy at a boutique consulting firm, where she enjoys helping teams deliver important medications to patients in need. Karin and her family have had a fantastic experience with the Richard Montgomery magnet IB program. They appreciate the engaging curriculum, which thoroughly prepares students for life beyond high school, and the strong sense of community fostered through academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Outside of work, Karin enjoys staying active through exercise and yoga, attending concerts and theater performances, and cheering on her daughter at cross-country meets and horseback riding competitions.

Alvin Lu

Zack Lam, RMIB Student Rep.

Zack Lam is an IB senior at Richard Montgomery High School. He has served with the RMIB Foundation for the past three years. He is involved with the school’s Philosophy Club, Law Policy Ethics club and Mock Trial. Outside of school, he enjoys writing and playing the piano.

Roger Lam

Nandini, At Large

Nandini is the parent of a Richard Montgomery IB Class of 2027 student and a sophomore in college. She holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Immunology from the University of Maryland. She manages research programs in Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias at the National Institute on Aging. Nandini loves how the school and IB program strive to foster a strong sense of community among RM students and parents.

Roger Lam

Amy Lolley, At Large

Amy Lolley is the parent of a freshman in the Richard Montgomery International (IB) program. She is a risk management professional with over 25 years of experience in the defense industry, currently working with Lockheed Martin.  She holds an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University, a MS in Cyber Security from UMBC, and BS degrees in both Finance and Logistics from the UMCP.  Amy has also held numerous volunteer positions supporting the local community, including serving the Cabin John PTSA.  Amy is passionate about supporting the students and faculty of the RMIB program. In her free time, she enjoys golf and traveling.

Lini Wu

Lini Wu, At Large

Lini is the mother of a senior in the Richard Montgomery IB program and a junior in college. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. She is working as an IT Specialist for the federal government. She loves how the IB program prepares students as global citizens by fostering critical thinking, creativity, and diversity.

 

 

Lini Wu

Mimi Langley, At Large

Mimi is the parent of a Richard Montgomery IB class of 2028 student. She holds a BA from the National University in Singapore, and an MBA from the Washington University in St Louis. She has over 25 years experience producing life sciences conferences across the globe, from US, Europe to Asia. Mimi appreciates the rigor of the RMIB program, and values its focus on intercultural understanding and global citizenship.
